The Wicked Weeders are a group of all round good sort locals who share a passion for Greening Taupo and love to get out and about and muck in! They meet every Tuesday and revisit many Greening Taupo and Kids Greening Taupo planting sites and to give them a bit of TLC by the releasing of plants, weed control and sometimes just finishing off a few things that got missed. This is a really important part of Greening Taupo mahi and it determines the success of each and every site and we couldn't achieve this without the help of the Wicked Weeders.
You are more than welcome to join the Wicked Weeders team, come along when you can on a Tuesday everyone is welcome!
Sign up below and you’ll be on the list to find out where we are off to next!

It is weather dependent…we don't go if its too wet and there is always a cuppa, biscuits and a good natter to finish off.
We ask you to wear suitable footwear, hat, gardening gloves and wet weather gear if required, Useful tools to release weeds are good but not essential as we do have some tools available.
