Wicked Weeders 8th April 🌳

Hi all,

We had a super successful planting at the weekend with over 200 turning up to plant, and it was a beautiful day to kick the planting season off. And of course it was such a success because of all the awesome support preparing the site beforehand through the sun and rain.

We’re heading back tomorrow, Tuesday, to Karetoto Rd to check everything over. Some of the taller plants will need tying up, and we’ll double-check that all the planting has been done correctly.

I can’t make it tomorrow; you will be looked after by Andrew, Heidi and Jo from Huka Honey Hive ♥️

I will pass on the ties, mallets (x5) and a few spades. All the mulch was used up, so it will be just checking the plants.

930am start, we will change to 1230 start after the school holidays
