Wicked Weeders 10th December 2024 🌿🎄

For Wicked Weeders on Tuesday, December 10th, the weather looks good ☀️and the rain has been much appreciated over the last 24 hours. We will head to the 2023 planting alongside the river below Kahurangi Gully, Rangatira Park. We will check out the plants and focus on releasing the ones along the river and the ones around the edges of the larger planting site to keep it nice and visible for the people on the lawnmowers to see the edges 🌳🌳🌳

We will bring along a selection of tools, including grubbers, shears, weed eater, a lawn mower and morning tea. Don’t forget your gloves, suitable footwear and sunhat😁

I am going to be a bit late, but I have passed on all instructions to Heidi.

930am–1130am Turn into Control Gates Park near the traffic lights , we will unlock the gate but have it closed, you are welcome to drive through and come down closer to the planting site.
