Wicked Weeders 18th March

Hi all,

The Wicked Weeders made great progress at Acid Drop at Control Gates Park last week. 🌳 We got just over halfway up, so we’ll be heading back tomorrow to (hopefully) finish the job.

The forecast looks like the rain will hold off until after lunch 🤞🏻 so we should be good to go. But if it turns wet early, stay home; it's just not fun in the rain!

Meet at 9:30 AM at the parking area next to the traffic lights at Control Gates.

Remember to bring your gardening gloves and any tools that might be useful. I’ll have some grubbers, cut-and-paste, and, of course, morning tea!

Coming up:

🌳Tuesday, the 25th & 1st of April, we will head to Karetoto Rd to get the area tidied up and sorted for our first planting on the 5th of April. 🌱

🌳 On Tuesday, April 8th,return to the Karetoto planting site to make sure everything is looking good after planting
