Wicked Weeders 2nd March

Hi all

This week, we’re celebrating Parks Week so we will head out to Spa Park for a session of wicked weeding! 💚

📅 When: 9:30 – 11:30 AM
📍 Where: Meet at the main carpark at the end of Country Lane, Spa Park.

We’ll take a stroll through the main KGT planting along the bike track to check on its progress and deal to any weeds lurking before making our way to the smaller plantings along the edge of the park and along the service lane. We will cut and paste broom, cut back and grub out some blackberry, and deal to a few flowering cherry trees.

I’ll bring a variety of tools and, of course, the all-important morning tea! 🫖🍪 Don’t forget to bring:
✔ Gardening gloves ✔ Sensible footwear ✔ A keen eye for wasps

🌧 The forecast suggests rain, but fingers crossed it holds off until later in the day!
