Wicked Weeders 13th August

Hi all

It could be a frosty start to the day tomorrow, hopefully, it would have warmed up by 12 for Wicked Weeders🌞 Plan for tomorrow is to head to the Matariki planting site alongside Rickett St.

Unison needs to replace the H power pole within the planting site so I am keen to remove some of the smaller plants that are in the way and transplant them further along the site in an area that could do with some infilling.

Unison will dig out all the other plants that will be affected just before the job and then replant them once finished; they are just not sure when this is going to happen. I’m just looking at moving about 20 little ones.

I will bring spades and buckets to collect vermicast and mulch and extra water for the plants, plus the afternoon tea 😁

I will also bring the weed eater to clear the infilling site and the auger to make replanting easier 🌱🌱

Bring along your gloves and sensible footwear, as the ground is uneven.

See you tomorrow from 1230 pm
