Wicked Weeders 27 June

Hi all. I hope everyone is having a great week.

For Wicked Weeders tomorrow, we are going to return to the Centennial Drive planting site. I only had a small group of Pathways last week, and we weren’t able to finish cutting and pasting the remaining patch of broom. It will be great to finish this off 🌳

I will bring along loopers, paste, grubbers, and some stakes and ties for any native plants on a lean.

See you all at 1230 tomorrow on Centennial Drive between AC Baths and the Taupō Golf Club.

Coming up
Through the month of July, I will be keen to have some Matariki working bees on Tuesdays from 1230 at the Matariki planting sites along the river.

4th July - tidying up the rainbow planting in between the intermediate school planting, towards the water treatment plant.

11th July - tidying up the lower plantings, alongside the river, towards Control gates

18th July- tidying up the planting at the top, alongside Rickett Street

25th July - Planting set up for the Matariki Planting on the 26th
