Wicked Weeders 23rd May

Hi all, if the rain clears by lunchtime tomorrow weeders will be at Hipapatua (Reid’s Farm, Huka falls Road) from 1230pm

We will head down to the river and continue releasing plants from the previous plantings. There is still a bit of long grass and weeds to clear, and there are a lot of fantastic native plants underneath it all; we just need to free them.

I will bring a selection of tools, including grubbers, shears, the weed eater, and afternoon tea.  Bring your gloves and wear suitable footwear and maybe an umbrella

Next week we have our massive Greening Taupo Day on Friday, June 2nd, so we will head there on Tuesday, June 30th, from 1230 to tidy up last year’s planting. We will then need some support on Thursday, June 1st, to unload and place all the plants. Cheers
