Wicked Weeders 28th March

Hi all,

It should be a good day tomorrow so the plan for wicked weeders is to head to the Taupō Golf Club to check out the planting site for Sunday, we will cut up a heap of bamboo stakes, and we’ll put some of them throughout the 2022 planting site and if we have time we may finish off releasing throughout the 2022 planting site.

I will bring a selection of tools incl loppers, paste and the weed eater and of course the morning tea.  Bring your gloves, and wear suitable footwear.

We will meet up at 930am - 1130am

Entrance via the Contact gate opposite the dog training club, I will try and get there early to open the gate.

The plan for the upcoming weeks is

Friday 31st March plants are being delivered from Treeline and Corrections, support for unloading and placement of plants within the site would be much appreciated from 9 am

Sunday 2nd April Taupo Golf Club community planting - all welcome from 10 am

Tuesday 4th April we will be back at the Taupo Golf Club to make sure everything is looking good - checking plants, spreading mulch and staking if required.
