Wicked Weeders 9th July

Hi all,

I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine once it breaks through the fog.

Last week was amazing, with 7500 native plants planted on Mt. Tauhara. There was an amazing turnout on Wednesday, with over 1000 attending and over 100 on Saturday. Thank you to the wonderful weeders who came along and helped set up the plantings. The Ngā Mahi Kaha crew appreciated the extra support and we loved being part of their team. And yum, we enjoyed the boiled up.

For Wicked Weeders tomorrow, Tuesday, we'll be heading back to the Centennial Road planting site to check on the plants and continue spreading the mulch.

The Centennial Road planting site is located between AC Baths and the entrance to the Taupō Golf Club. 🌳🌳🌳🌳

I will bring some buckets and afternoon tea. Remember to bring your gloves. It should be a nice day, possibly after a foggy start again, so it could be chilly till we warm up. 🌞😁

I look forward to catching up with you all tomorrow.

See you from 12.30 am

Next week I am away with the kids so we will have the 16th off and we will get back to it the following Tuesday.
