Wicked Weeders 4th June 🌳

Hope you all enjoyed a wonderful long weekend!

This week is shaping up to be a busy and exciting one with the Greening Taupo Day celebrations on Friday. We’re expecting a fantastic turnout with many activities, including a large Arbor Day planting. The plant set up for this will be on Thursday from 900am

For Wicked Weeders on Tuesday, we'll be heading to the Centennial Road planting site to check on the plants. A bit of mulch has been delivered, and we'll start spreading it around, the plants look like they really need a bit of extra nourishment so hopefully this will perk them up. I also have Pathways scheduled for later in the week and another visit next week, which should put a pretty big dent in the mulch piles.

The Centennial Road planting site is located between AC Baths and the entrance to the Taupō Golf Club. 🌳🌳🌳🌳

I will bring some buckets and afternoon tea. Please remember to bring your gloves. It should be a nice day, though a bit chilly, so be sure to wrap a warm.🌞😁

Thursday 6th - Plant setup day for Greening Taupo Day, Tauhara Road. Weeders support 9-1230 I am not 100% sure when the bulk of the plants will arrive. We will have at least 1 load in the morning, vermicast will also need to be placed in holes. I have a group from Pathways at 1245 Tauhara Road just before the BP.

Friday 7th -Greening Taupo Day. Come along and check out all the awesome activities and grab a venison sausage and a hot soup 😁

Tuesday 11th - Return to the Greening Taupo Day Planting Site, Tauhara Road to check all plants to make sure they have all been planted well🌳
