Wicked Weeders 12th March

Hi all

Its looking all okay for Wicked Weeders tomorrow 🌥️ For this one, we are going to head to the Matariki planting site towards the top end of Rickett St and find and release the plants hiding in the grass. Anyone feeling adventurous can deal with the Japanese honey suckle that has taken off again on the bank. And the ones wanting to stay on flat ground can also fix up a few of the stakes.

I will bring grubbers, shears, hand tools and morning tea. 😁

Bring along your gloves and sensible footwear, as the ground is uneven and hidden.

I’m thinking we will be back next week and the weedeaters will be useful then, when we can see the majority of plants.🌳🌳
