Wicked Weeders 10am tomorrow

Hi all,

We had our last planting on Saturday out at Whakaipo Bay and it was another really successful one🌳 Thank you to all those who helped set up, it was a massive day and thanks also to the ones who helped out on the day, it all made the event go so smoothly💚

Tomorrow we will head back to the Whakaipo Bay planting site and make sure that all plants are planted correctly, they have certainly had a good water, but some plants were a little root-bound (Karamu) so these may need to be lifted and tickled a bit 😁 I also have a few plants to put in some of those empty holes.🌳

Tuesday 10 am-1230pm Whakaipo Bay down by the W2K shelter

I will bring some spades, plants, and afternoon tea. Don’t forget your gloves and a raincoat, it does look like it could ease off by 10am but then again 🌧️🌧️🌧️🌞

No Wicked Weeders next Tuesday, October 3rd, as I am away.

Tuesday, October 10th, at 930 a.m., we will head to Hipapatua and plant the last of the native plants that we have left over.
