Our Supporters- Upflow

Our Mission is to improve the environment for people and native wildlife. Over the last 10 plus years we have planted over 45 ha of land with 240,000 native plants at multiple sites in Taupō including parks, reserves, trails and gullies. Our work is made possible by the extensive support of the wider Taupō community and for this we are very grateful. There is a myriad of ways that people, organisations and businesses are involved behind the scenes helping us get trees in the ground. From helping to fund plantings, to manning the BBQ, supporting our website, regular donations, providing morning tea or volunteering time. Every little or big effort is noted and valued and helps us on our journey to achieve our goals and realise our Mission. We thought it was time to start to sharing these stories of support with you.

Upflow Forest is a planting site along Wairakei drive which is being supported by Upflow for three years. This planting is beautifying a public green space and improving our local biodiversity providing habitat for our native birds. It’s been great meeting their team at our community planting days. We are so stoked to partner with such an awesome group of people who are helping us achieve our goal of Greening Taupō.
