Conservation Week 2024, come join us and take action for nature!

Conservation Week is a nationwide celebration of nature. It is about having opportunities to both connect with and take action to protect our natural environment. Conservation week was originally launched in 1969 by the NZ Scouts and is more relevant today than ever as our NZ wildlife is in crisis. With more than 4000 species being currently threatened with extinction. So take the opportunity to get involved, there are 9 different events spread across the week with something for everyone, including our Greening Taupō Wicked Weeders session, restoration planting in Hatepe, the Green teas talk and so much more. Check out the flyer and make sure to register if required so you don’t miss out.
